Buy sexy lingerie in India not for anyone else but yourself, and other things I need to tell the 20 years old me!
In the first place, I am going to turn 30 this year, and I wish that the things I have mentioned below were my bucket list things when I was 20. However, I am still thriving to fulfill these, and if you are in the house of 20, this blog might help you in setting your goals, as you are out of college, and ready to earn your bread and butter.
Though we are a progressive society, as women in India we are still taught and expected to compromise when it comes to relationships, marriage and other commitments. Before we begin, let's promise each other that we will stand for the women community as one, and not let any women in our family or around us suffer silently. Lets pledge to stand for those who cannot stand for themselves.
That being said, let's start the fun part of today’s blog. Is it just me or you too after every time you do something, feel that should have been done differently? Now that I am knocking the door to my 30s, I wish every day that I had lived my 20s differently.
Below are the things I would have done, if I could go back to my 20s again.
Sunscreen and Hydration
Back in my 20s, I did not pay much heed to my skin as it was youthful and glowing. However, little did I know, if I would have prudently taken care of my skin there, it would be in better condition today.
The 20 years me – please wear sunscreen whenever you step out, and properly hydrate your skin with a good moisturizer at least twice a day. Moreover, do not use soaps loaded with chemicals on your skin, rather opt for organic scrubs and face washes.
Dress Up for Yourself
In our 20s, we are super-conscious of what we wear and how we look, and most importantly how others receive that. Growing up has taught me that nothing is more beautiful than being comfortable in your own skin and doing things for your happiness rather than impressing others.
The 20 years ME – please dress up for YOURSELF. Do not step in a LBD or the most sexy night dress in India for your partner, but wear it to celebrate your own self.
Take a SOLO Trip
This one is still on my bucket list, and I will accomplish it soon. Going on vacations with your family or friends or your partner is a good way to rejuvenate in their company. However, do you know who is the best company for you? YOU! Spend time with yourself, and discover new things about you, and a solo trip is the best way to do that. You not only explore a new place but also learn to be alone and enjoy your own company.
The 20 years ME – please take a SOLO TRIP.
